| Ok, so i have some free time today at work, our 2nd career fair is over, which means i get a couple of hours off during the week for being such a good little worker. Plus i got to see Jack and Andy, so all is well. Halloween is just around the corner, and then its thanksgiving, and then its CHRISTMAS!!! Yes, i am already so excited i could just burst. I need to buy a tree, and then figure out where im going to put it. I could put it in the middle of the room we never sit in, but then i wouldn't get to enjoy it so much. I would like it to go in the living room, in front of the window, but i have entirely too much furniture for that. but anyway, back to halloween...
Me and jena went as sheep to the halloween dance, which was an awesome costume idea, except for everytime we moved we pooped cotton balls everywhere. i still have cotton all over my car, in my driveway and im pretty sure we'll be finding some on the premises of presser for awhile. im giving out candy on wednesday, im so excited, i get to be like a grown-up!!!
Classes are going well-ish. I have an A in BMS but our latest exam sort of bent me over and forgot the lube. Im holding solid at a B in PharmSci, so no complaints there, and PCAM is a big waste of my time, fuck you SOAP notes, you're completely worthless. I still need to switch over to symphonic band, which hopefully will lack a few individuals who scream worthless annoying phrases repetitively.
I really miss nicole, and I dont think ill be able to make it to jess's dance thingy. I havent seen bess since august, and i'm not sure winter quarter is looking too good either. Maybe thanksgiving? I like pie, we should go get some? P.S. does anyone have any idea of what i should get chris for our anniversary? I still have like a month to think, but I really have no clue. Im pretty sure making him dinner isnt all that special since i make dinner every night... flowers? would a guy enjoy getting flowers...? hmm....

| Ok, so i remembered xanga exists, so here i am. so far the year is going well, but its still only going on week 4. it definately feels like week 8. Im already tired of band, but woohoo, its my last year, so ill deal. Im really happy that we're doing the theme to jesus christ superstar. awesome movie, if you havent seen it, i highly suggest it. just be aware that its a bunch of singing hippies making a really progressive movie about jesus for people in the 70's. it was definately like banned by tons of groups when it came out. Its one of my dad's favorite movies, which i guess makes him a rebel. not to mention his new shoes. I keep telling him that he cant wear these skechers that he bought, they look like they belong on a 15 year old emo kid, but c'est la vie, thus is my dad. I love my house, i cant believe im actually living all by myself with chris. note to friends: please call before you stop over, b/c i like to be naked, and you know why, b/c its my house! i'm so happy with the way the house turned out, the landlords took 5 years of repairs and decided to do them all in one summer, and it looks good, and doesnt smell nearly as bad as it used to. Now i just cant wait till christmas, its going to be so much fun decorating a house!! so my parents are down to one cat, callie jacob's white cat had a massive heart attack and died, but they still wont let me get a kitten and keep it at home. I dont understand their reasoning. they always said they didnt want just one cat, and that we had to wait until one of our 4 died to get a new one, so now that we're down to one, im pretty sure they owe me like 3 cats. lastly a note to our dear university. Ahem... Dear Controller, please give me my refund check, im really poor and rent is due in about 10 days, not to mention my fridge is so very empty. Thanks. | | |
| so im just chillin at home this week after my surgery, and i figured i should update since its the end of july and i havent been on in months. Surgery went well, dr. white removed 3 little bundles of tissue that didnt belong outside of my oven. my dad kept saying oven b/c hes squeamish about lady things. im going back to work on sunday, i see dr. white on wednesday, and other than that he just said dont lift anything heavy for 6 weeks. im ok except i dont have any strength in my stomach. sneezing hurts, i cant blow my nose, and of course getting up from sitting is real fun. i just hope i can run around and play trombone when it comes time to do so. So i guess dr. white took a peek around and took some pictures of most of my organs. and guess what he saw. an inflamed gall bladder.... yeah, i definately was told by an ob/gyn that my gall bladder is inflamed. i guess i went to the wrong kind of doctor all along. that tummy lady assured me that all of my organs looked fine, no problems and that i was just stressed and the pain would go away. i cant wait till our next appointment. i hope i can take the picture to show her. this summer has been going pretty well. im only working part time so i have a lot of time to relax. Ive gotten quite a nice tan, and ive visited chris twice. i also got to help fix up my house. im so excited how nice its going to be. They're putting laminate in the bathroom. no more stinky carpet in the bathroom!!!! ive spent a bunch of time with nicole, and im warming up to the boy, but ive got my eye on him... OH and dani's pregnant. i cant wait. their house is almost ready to move into, im just so happy for them. i cant wait to find out what the baby will be. i hope its a girl.... no more little nathans. hmm.. i think thats about it.. i wish jess would give me a call, i think shes mad or something... | | |
| So.... I had a fun time at the doctor's today. Well to start off right, let me just tell you that you'd think after an upper GI, a gallbladder sonogram, a CT scan, an EGD scope, and countless blood tests that they'd find something that was wrong with me. Nope... apparently not. So over Easter break when I went to Chicago, I had like the worst heartburn and pain that I've had in months. So when I get back I called the doctor and they moved up my appointment and ordered some more labs. Blood tests and a pH monitor. Blood tests I can do, but they didnt tell me what they do for a pH monitor.
So I go to St. Rita's this morning and they sit me in a bed, and I dont have to change into a gown. Good, thats a plus b/c that means they're not putting things up my butt. Then she pulls out a bunch of tubes. And informs me that they are going up my nose and down my throat. First was a big one that i gagged on the whole way down, and then a little one that stays in for 24 hours. So here I am, typing this, with a tube down my nose and a monitor for me to tell when my tummy hurts. And my stupid stomach decides its going to behave!! GRRRRR!!!!
On to something else.... hmmm.... well I'm sucking in a bunch of my classes. Not that I dont know or understand the material. I just keep blanking out on my tests. Not to mention that I keep having to skip classes to go to doctors appointments. Its ok though, I was pretty much due for a major freak out about how I hate pharmacy and that I dont want to do it anymore. The rest of this year has gone considerably well, especially since I dont have physio. If I'm productive enough this weekend I should be all fine and candy (I say candy b/c candy is tasty and dandy is a lame word).

| Oops, I completely forgot I was on the once a month xanga plan! Lets see, Christmas was good, Chicago was good, Bears game was good except for that they lost. That finishes December. On to January. Um, went back to ONU, lots of class, kinda skipped a lot of class, but I'm a busy girl, got things to do! Went and saw Jessica's dance team, Jessica is super good, and I want her bebes. I'm finally able to drink again, although I'm drinking plenty and getting drunk none! Its ridiculous. I should have no tolerance for as long as I didn't drink, and now I can plow through a bottle of rum like theres no tomorrow. I haven't had beer yet, so I'm debating whether or not I should give Mr. Killians a whirl this weekend. He's so tasty...
Went to the tummy doctor and they want to stick a tube down my throat. But they are scheduling me for 6 weeks from now, and I dont want to wait so I'm calling some other doctors. Apparently my tummy hurting for 4 months means nothing to doctors. What does it feel like? Um it feels like I'm going to stab you in the face if you dont help me. Honestly, if I could stand to make myself throw up I would do it right in the middle of the waiting room. Oh, you can see me now, thanks, thats so nice of you.... assholes.
Hm... something happier... I got flowers for Valentines day from Chris. They are pretty and purple. My daddy sent me a card too. We also had a blizzard and had two days off school. And I made cookies. I love making cookies, but I burnt the first batch. The rest turned out ok. I think we're watching beer fest in class today. I cant wait to see if he actually puts it in!
